STRUCTURAL PRODUCTS

Angles

Our structural products are world-class, meeting the highest international standards. The company's extensive marketing network and after salesservice ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Larger even leg stainless angles can be manufactured utilizing laser fusion technology. Laser fused technology also enables engineers and metal buyers to mix thickness or even material grades. Laser fused even leg angles can also be supplied in Duplex 2205 and lean Duplex 2201. All even leg angles can be cut to size. Even leg stainless angles can be supplied with a polished finish.

Channels & Tubes

Channels is usually formed from metal sheet, folded over into an open channel shape with inwards-curving lips to provide additional stiffness and as a location to mount interconnecting components. Strut usually has holes of some sort in the base, to facilitate interconnection or fastening strut to underlying building structures.

Cold Rolled Sheet

Cold rolling occurs with the metal below its recrystallization temperature (usually at room temperature), which increases the strength via strain hardening up to 20%. It also improves the surface finish and holds tighter tolerances. Commonly cold-rolled products include sheets, strips, bars, and rods; these products are usually smaller than the same products that are hot rolled. Because of the smaller size of the workpieces and their greater strength, as compared to hot rolled stock, four-high or cluster mills are used.

Round Bars

Stainless steel round bar for machining in a wide range of grades, including duplex and super-duplex stainless steel. Sizes range from 20 to 450 mm (0.787 to 17.7 in.). Sandvik stainless bar steel is delivered with peel turned, burnished or rough machined surface, depending on size. It can be supplied in random lengths or cut into fixed lengths.

Beams ( Ubeam and Ibeam )

A beam is a structural element that is capable of withstanding load primarily by resisting bending. The bending force induced into the material of the beam as a result of the external loads, own weight, span and external reactions to these loads is called a bending moment. Beams are traditionally descriptions of building or civil engineering structural elements, but smaller structures such as truck or automobile frames, machine frames, and other mechanical or structural systems contain beam structures that are designed and analyzed in a similar fashion.
